Antique Edwardian sterling silver table box, having a rectagular body, with a hand-chased hinged lid showing six soldiers in dress uniform in various poses, a gold-gilt interior, and a hand-chased freeze of floral work running around the sides, and sitting on a flat base. Originally Dutch in origin and imported into Chester in 1902 with a sponsors mark for Samuel Boyce Landec. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver table box are length 9 cms (3.5 inches), height 3 cms (1.25 inches), width 7 cms (2.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 169g (5.5 troy ounces)

Antique Victorian sterling silver table box, in a casket style, having a plain rectangular body, with hinged and curved lid having a clasp and lock on the front of the body, together with applied floral bands, and sitting on four foliate feet. The lid being hand-chased with a scene of two men sat at a table playing a board game, looked on by a lady holding a baby standing in a doorway beneath a spreading grapevine. Made by Nathan and Hayes of Chester in 1900. Dimensions 10 cms (4 inches) square, height 4 cms (1.5 inches). Weight approx. 222g (7.2 troy ounces).

In the casket style with hand-chased Greko-Roman figural decoration on the lid, acanthus-leaf work on the main body, and sitting on four cast foliate feet. Hallmarked for Chester in 1898.
