Sterling silver pair of butter dishes, having hand-pierced bodies, cast ribbon and laurel-leaf handles, frosted hand-cut crystal interiors, and sitting on four cast floral feet. Made by Edward Barnsley of Birmingham in 1912. Diameter 11 cms (4.25 inches), height 4.5 cms (1.75 inches). Total weight approx. 150g (4.8 troy ounces). |
