Antique Edwardian silver plated three-tier cake stand, having a graduated suite of three removable octagonal plates with applied leaf borders, sitting within a very pretty tapering frame with scroll-work handle and feet. Made by Frederick Atkins of Sheffield in ca. 1910. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver-plated cake stand are height 38 cms (15 inches), width at base 22 cms (8.6 inches), width of largest plate 18 cms (7 inches), width of smallest plate 14 cms (5.5 inches). |
