Antique Georgian sterling silver pair of chambersticks, having round bodies with bead and floral borders, scroll handles with removable dunce-cap extinguishers, and removable bobeches. Made by Elizabeth and Robert Jones of London in 1781 and 1784. Height 9.5 cms (3.75 inches), diameter 14 cms (5.5 inches). Total weight approx. 500g (16 troy ounces). |
