Antique Victorian Sterling silver christening set, consisting of a round bowl with hand-engraved neocalssical style engraving and bead borders sitting on a collet foot, together with a matching original spoon, all in an original maroon satin and velvet-lined presentation box. Made by Martin and Hall of London in 1885. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver christening set are length of spoon 16.5 cms (6.5 inches), diameter of bowl 11 cms (4.3 inches), and the total weight is approx. 161g (5.2 troy ounces).
