Antique Georgian sterling silver hand-chased coffee pot, having a round hand-chased baluster body with floral decoration, a hinged lid with melon fluting and original cast finial, an insulated silver handle, and sitting on four ball feet with applied cast leaves. Made by one of the most important English silversmiths from the late Georgian period, Edward Farrell, of London in 1828. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver coffee pot are height 21 cms (8.25 inches), length 25.5 cms (10 inches), and it weighs approx. 930g (30 troy ounces).
