Sterling silver eight-piece condiment set, consisting of four open salt cellars with blue-glass liners, two mustard pots with hinged lids, and two pepper shakers, all with plain baluster bodies, gadroon borders, and sitting on four foliate feet, and all fitted into an original satin and velvet-lined presentation box. Made by E. S. Barnsley & Co., of Birmingham in 1918. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver condiment service are height of pepper pots 8 cms (3 inches), length of mustard pots 8 cms (3 inches), and with a total weight of approx. 255g (8.2 troy ounces).
