Antique Edwardian sterling silver inkstand, having a plain round silver mount with round domed hinged lid, a glass insert for a smaller amount of ink, and a heavy hand-cut round crystal body that can hold a large amount of ink, with hob-nail cut base. Made by Mappin and Webb of Birmingham in 1902. Height 12.5 cms (5 inches), diameter 12 cms (4.75 inches). |
