An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver single Sovereign case and original chain, having a round body with hand-hammered decoration and in the shape of a Hunter fob watch, with hinged lid, internal sprung mechanism which is in working order, and push-button clasp, all made by Alexander Davenport of Birmingham in 1908. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver sovereign case are length 4 cms (1.5 inches), and it weighs a total of 39g (1.25 troy ounces).

Antique Georgian sterling silver bougie-box, having a cylindrical body with bright-cut engraved bands of decoration, a flat invisibly hinged lid, an attached sickle moon-shaped wax trimmer, and a hinged buckle style loop handle. Made by Thomas Phipps and Edward Robinson II of London in 1785. Please note that the hallmark also includes a rare incuse duty mark (George III looking left), which was only in use for 18 months (between 1st December 1784 and 29th May, 1786). The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver bougie-box are diameter 5 cms (2 inches), height 2.5 cms (1 inch), and it weighs approx. 53g (1.7 troy ounces).
