Antique Victorian sterling silver tea caddy box, having a shaped octagonal body with straight sides, applied gadroon borders, a pull-off cup that served as a measure, and sitting on a flat base. Made by Nathan and Hayes of Birmingham in 1895. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tea caddy box are height 11 cms (4.25 inches), width 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 196g (6.3 troy ounces). |
