Antique Georgian sterling silver oval teapot with ivory scroll handle and pineapple finial, hinged lid with flat hinge, with top and bottom bands of hand-engraved floral decoration. Made by William Robinson of Edinburgh in 1797. Length 29 cms (11.5 inches), height 18.5 cms (7.25 inches). Weight approx. 580g (18.7 troy ounces). Please note that this piece is crested. |
