Antique Georgian sterling silver sugar basket, having an oval wire-work body, with hinged reeded swing-handle, a blue-glass liner, and sitting on a pedestal foot. Made by Robert Hennell I of London in 1792. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver sugar basket are height (inc. handle) 18 cms (7 inches), length 15.5 cms (6 inches), and it weighs approx. 222g (7.2 troy ounces).
